Musical Shenanigans
Musical Shenanigans is a podcast about Rolling Stone’s ranking of the Top 500 Albums of All Time. But it is absolutely not what you think.
Yes, we talk about the albums. But we do things a little differently around here.
We choose two albums at random, put them in a cage together, and let them fight it out to determine which one is better. Each match is part of a March Madness-style Playoff Bracket, with the goal of determining, for ourselves, the best album of all time, based on our limited knowledge, lack of credibility, and non-existent credentials.
We also discuss current music-related news and other topics, come up with really stupid quizzes. And sometimes, if we are feeling saucy, we may give you a song, fake commercial, or some other such nonsense.
Please invite Cory, Dave, and Scott (alphabetically by height) into your ears for a whole new way of ranking albums.

As we near the end of round two of our illustrious March Sadness Bracket, we want to thank all of you that have come back every time to our little show. After the next show, we go into the final rounds where the stakes are higher and the rewards are irrelevant.
For this show, here are the rounds:
Round One
Public Enemy - It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back
vs
Stevie Wonder - Songs in the Key of Life
Round Two
Peter Gabriel - So
vs
U2 - The Joshua Tree
Round Three
The Police - Synchronicity
vs
Yes - Close to the Edge
Round Four
The Cars - (self-titled from 1978)
vs
Black Flag - Damaged
Stick around for the middle discussion on covers, their history, thier meaning, and when they were done properly, and when they sucked.
Peace, Love, and Coffee,
